Whom We Serve
Large Enterprises
The shift to renewable energy creates tough decisions for leaders. New technologies are available at an ever-increasing pace. Public policy can change with each election cycle, and markets continue to evolve.
Our Decision Making Lab is a super-accelerator for executive teams facing complexity related to the global transition to renewable energy. It is meticulously designed to equip leaders with the capacity and insights to navigate fast-evolving energy markets.
Our offering for large enterprises includes:
- The Decision Making Lab
- Scoping Workshop: half-day interactive engagement for 6-8 participants which is used to frame the client’s business situation, apply Tilt Global frameworks for current context analysis, and identify sources of resistance to change and strategies to address them
- DML Simulator: 2 full days for a cohort of 15-30 people with optional deep dive sessions on specific findings of company pain points
- Enterprise DML Roll-Out: a coordinated program to inform and align the management teams within the client organization
Consulting Partners
We work with consulting organizations as partners, allowing them to incorporate the Decision Making Lab into their portfolio of services with two distinct delivery models.
- Coordinated Delivery: Collaborative engagement in which Tilt Global designs and delivers the DML as an element of a larger engagement or relationship that the consulting organization has with an existing client
- DML Certification: Independent delivery of DML by Certified DML Coaches from within the consulting organization who have been certified to deliver the program
Academic Institutions
Similar to our work with consulting organizations, we support academic institutions who want to add the Decision Making Lab to their executive education curriculum. The DML can be delivered by Tilt Global on behalf of the institution, or certified faculty can lead the program themselves.
- Outsourced Curriculum: Tilt Global designs and delivers the DML either as a stand-alone executive program or as a defined component of an executive program
- DML Certification: Independent delivery of DML by Certified DML Coaches within the academic faculty

Management Succession Plan
We used the Decision Making Lab to help strengthen communication, coordination, and understanding of the overall strategy of the firm among a group of senior managers on the fast track to the executive suite who represented different functions, business units, and countries. Tilt Global pulled out all the stops to deliver an impactful experience.

Corporate Collaboration
We needed to cultivate an understanding of the linkages among a variety of product groups, The Decision Making Lab was a highly effective means of fostering information flow across functions and business units, as well as conveying some basic business knowledge to those who had not previously received formal training.

Enterprise Privatization
We had to adapt to a new reality. After serving as a state-owned enterprise for over 100 years, our firm had to transform itself into a publicly traded enterprise with shares listed on an organized capital market. The Decision Making Lab helped our top 300 executives learn how to operate in this new world into which we were launched.

-
Commercializing R&D
Our research and development group was divested from our long-time parent company, and our leadership team needed to learn – quickly – how to operate without a blank check. The Decision Making Lab inspired us to take creative approaches to identifying market opportunities and conjuring new products. It also helped us learn how to respond to new competition, which was rapidly entering the market.

Global Strategy Development
Our industry was facing massive change on a global scale as a result of privatization, deregulation, market entry, technological advance, and the convergence of previously separate sectors. Adaptation to a Rapidly Changing Business Environment
The market context we were facing looked nothing like what we had seen in the past. Demand was rapidly increasing. Regulations were changing. The technology we needed to adopt looked nothing like what we were used to. Based on the outcomes of two Decision Making Labs to 60 leaders, I wanted every unit in my company to experience it.
– CEO, National Public Utility

Competitive Strategy
We had just suffered the first loss of our 90-year history. New foreign competitors were using new manufacturing techniques to gain major positions in our previously captive domestic market. After our senior management and all members of the executive suite participated in the Decision Making Lab, we realized we could manage our business risk by diversifying into adjacent industries with relatively low-tech products.

Melding Multicultural Teams
Following an acquisition, one of our biggest challenges was to figure out how to bring together a team of leaders from three distinct cultures: Germany, Hungary, and the United States. The Decision Making Lab helped our teams learn each others’ decision making styles, allowing us to coordinate strategy development and execution effectively.
